IPART is reviewing prices for water and wastewater services provided by Essential Water in Broken Hill and the surrounding areas of Menindee, Sunset Strip and Silverton for the five year period period 1 July 2022 – 30 June 2027. IPART is also reviewing prices for water transportation services provided by Water NSW’s Murray River to Broken Hill Pipeline.

To learn more, IPART has released Issues Papers for both reviews and published the pricing proposals from Essential Water and Water NSW. Interested parties are encouraged to have their say by making a submission to IPART by 22 October 2021.
